Day One

Welcome to the LoveDo Blog!

I just watched a tutorial, saw an Instagram post, now I’m on this blog, what the hell is LoveDo?

Good question!

LoveDo is an educational resource for creatives, specifically centered around design, animation, and media production. It’s focused on technical skills as well as ideas behind creative living.

When I was trying to figure out what to do with my life in high school, I told my grandfather that I’d probably be an engineer since I was decent at math. In his thick Italian accent, he told me “You no love, you no do.” From then on in pursuing larger life goals, I’ve always asked myself “Do I actually love this?”

The idea on day one of LoveDo (as I write this) is that we'll have free tutorials in addition to our blog where we’ll share helpful info, post thought provoking ideas, and highlight artists as a source of inspiration.

What’s the point of all this?

I’m hoping to grow this into more than just a tutorial site. I want to build an online community for like minded creatives, provide a space for people to share their work with their peers, and inspire people to pursue their professional dreams. I believe life’s about chasing your passion, and want to share that with others.

These are the day one ideas. Maybe this will become an animation studio. Maybe this will become a college alternative for creatives. Or maybe this whole idea will fail, but regardless, it’ll be a learning experience that hopefully provides someone with something useful.

Always be learning.

Always be creating.

Always love what you do.
